Deltek Advocate Program Code of Conduct

20201013

Introduction

We are committed to conducting our global business in a legal, ethical and socially responsible manner. We expect the same level of honesty and integrity of the members of the Deltek Advocate Program that we expect of our own employees. Advocates who do not conform to these standards may have their participation in the Deltek Advocate Program terminated.

All Advocates are expected to take the necessary steps required to ensure compliance with our Advocate Program Code of Conduct

Ethical Conduct and Anti-Corruption

  • Advocates must not engage in corruption, extortion or embezzlement in any form, offer or accept bribes or employ any other means to obtain an undue or improper advantage.
  • Advocates must comply with all applicable anti-corruption laws and regulations of the countries where they conduct business, including the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, the UK Bribery Act, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development Anti-Bribery Convention and all international anti-corruption treaties or conventions. We have provided you with a copy of our anti-corruption policy for your reference.
  • Advocates must not bribe or provide kickbacks or any improper payments or gifts to any government official or any other third party in an effort to win business with or for a Deltek officer, director, employee, representative or agent.
  • Advocates must immediately report to us any instance where a Deltek employee or representative has made any such unethical or illegal request or demand of the Advocate.

Employment Practices

  • We expect Advocates to comply with all applicable labor and employment laws and regulations.
  • Modern Slavery: All employment must be freely chosen and performed voluntarily, in exchange for lawful compensation. Advocates shall not use or condone the use of indentured, slave, forced involuntary labor or any labor that involves coercion, whether by direct threats of violence or more subtle forms of compulsion or under the menace of any penalty.

Humane Treatment and Non-Discrimination

  • Advocates may not unlawfully discriminate against any worker in their hiring or employment practices on the basis of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender reassignment or gender identity, age, disability, nationality, ethnic or natural origin, religion or belief, marital or civil partner status, pregnancy or maternity or any other legally protected class or category.

Business Conduct

  • Our employees are prohibited from soliciting or accepting any gifts, gratuities or other monetary incentives designed to improperly influence business decisions or as a condition of doing business. Advocates have an affirmative duty to immediately report to us any such request or demand.
  • We expect Advocates to prevent or immediately disclose a conflict of interest or the appearance of a conflict of interest as soon as possible. A conflict of interest is defined as any circumstance, transaction or relationship directly or indirectly involving an Advocate in which the private interest of any employee of the Advocate interferes or appears to improperly interfere with our interests.
  • Questions or concerns about compliance or ethics issues while working for Deltek or the reporting of illegal or unethical activities should be made by calling +1 (888) 227-3565.

All matters raised in good faith will be handled on a confidential, non-retaliatory basis. All information will be maintained as confidentially as practical in light of the need to conduct an investigation and implement remedial measures. Anonymity will be granted upon request by the reporting person.

Monitoring and Reporting

  • Advocates are required to report any breaches of the Advocate Program Code of Conduct to Deltek as soon as they come to light (including by way of self-reporting).
